Daily Writing Prompts – Week One
Monday: Write a narrative about a kangaroo getting super powers. Remember to include a problem and solve it.
Tuesday: Write a procedure for making your favourite sandwich. Remember to include the things you will need, steps and pictures.
Wednesday: Write to convince someone why you deserve to win €1000. Remember to include paragraphs, an introduction and a conclusion.
Thursday: Write an acrostic poem about an animal of your choice. An acrostic poem uses each letter of the animal’s name to start each line. For example:
Amazing that they can carry 20 times their weight,
Never forgetting where they came from.
The queen can have over a million babies!
Friday: Write a story about an alien that visited your school. Remember to use lots of adjectives (describing words).

Thursday: Write a narrative about finding a tiny zoo in your garden with tiny animals! Remember to include a problem and solve it.
Friday: Write a recount about your time at home so far and how you are feeling.
