Self-Portraits in Ms. Cooney’s class

The children drew from observation this week. They created self-portraits of themselves and looked in the mirror while they yawned as their inspiration! They were also inspired by the poem, “Accidentally”. Once – I didn’t mean to, but that was that – I yawned in the sunshine and swallowed a gnat.
